The
Handwriting Clinic™ sponsors the handwriting workshops on a national
basis. We will soon be sponsoring workshops by other experts in the field of
Occupational Therapy who specialize in Fine Motor Skills, Handwriting, or
Assistive Technology. During the Fall and Spring semesters, Jan presents
approximately 30 workshops annually. Jan McCleskey, MA, OTR is the clinical
director and owner of The
Handwriting Clinic™. She is the Continuing Education Administrator
for workshops sponsored by The
Handwriting Clinic™. She also is the author of the First
Strokes® Multi-Sensory Handwriting Products. The First
Strokes Handwriting Workshop incorporates the multi-sensory
teaching strategies and philosophy of the clinic and presents the First
Strokes® Products. It includes a walk-around exploration lab in
the afternoon with over 45 lab stations.

Handwriting Clinic™ provides corporate and healthcare provider
workshops. These workshops are designed to improve the handwriting of doctors,
lawyers and other professionals that need to have legible handwriting as part

Regional
service centers or school districts can sponsor a First Strokes® Inservice for $1200 plus travel
or $1300 plus travel if labs are included. (Only workshops
sponsored by The Handwriting Clinic are eligible for AOTA CEU credit).
